Weston Fader, B.Comm, CFP®, CCS®, CHS®
Principal Financial Consultant
Weston Fader is an experienced financial planner and entrepreneur dedicated to helping business owners design sustainable financial paths that support both their lifestyle and long-term goals. With more than 15 years in the financial services industry, Weston founded Atlas Wealth Financial to provide practical guidance, structured planning, and support tailored to the realities of entrepreneurship.
A graduate of Saint Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce in Global Business Management, Weston Fader holds designations as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Certified Cash Flow Specialist (CCS®), and Certified Health Specialist (CHS®). He also created the Significant Life System™, a proprietary planning framework that integrates behavioural cash flow principles, tax-aware strategies, and long-term decision support to help clients align their financial choices with their life priorities.
Weston is also the author of Wealth Management for Business Owners: Keepin’ Your Profits in Your Pockets (2017), where he shares perspectives and interviews with Canadian entrepreneurs to help readers better understand the planning considerations that influence financial well-being.
Beyond his professional work, Weston is committed to community service, athletics, and youth development. He has served as President of the Edmonton Downtown Canadian Progress Club, Vice President of its St. Albert chapter, and Committee Chair for major fundraising initiatives supporting children’s causes.
His approach blends practical expertise with a belief that true wealth supports freedom, legacy, and personal fulfillment.
Melanie Lau, Client Service Manager
Since 2014, Melanie has played a central role in delivering exceptional service and operational excellence at Atlas Wealth Financial. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of Alberta and brings wide-ranging experience from roles across multiple industries.
Melanie ensures that clients stay organized and supported throughout their planning journey. Known for her attention to detail and dependable follow-through, she simplifies complex processes and provides clients with high-touch, personalized guidance.
Outside the office, Melanie is a devoted wife, mother, and animal lover who brings warmth and steadiness to every interaction.
Vivian Baia Fader, Client Experience Manager
